Their influence transcends motorcycles, selling merchandise and living a &#8216;lifestyle&#8217;; the brand has become an icon of popular culture. Their bikes are sold with riders seeking freedom and adventure, that is synonymous with the brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"615\" src=\"https:\/\/apd-group.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/HD-History.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7299\" srcset=\"https:\/\/apd-group.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/HD-History.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/apd-group.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/HD-History-300x180.jpg 300w, https:\/\/apd-group.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/HD-History-768x461.jpg 768w, https:\/\/apd-group.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/HD-History-600x360.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Requirement&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With a global reach, Harley-Davidson need to efficiently manage dealer performance across the entire EMEA region. As Harley-Davidson EMEA\u2019s main business management reporting partner, Harley-Davidson approached APD to produce a clear, concise and intuitive dashboard, pulling in dealer performance data from all EMEA dealers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Consultation&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Harley-Davidson&#8217;s existing dealer performance reporting was mostly Excel based, and only allowed analysis at individual market or dealer level.&nbsp; Their aim was to have a single dashboard with all dealer and market data in one place, allowing management and field support teams to review performance across all EMEA in one place. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/apd-group.com\/executive-insight\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">APD\u2019s Executive Insight platform<\/a> was capable of adapting to its users\u2019 existing processes and data sets to work <em>with <\/em>them rather than <em>against <\/em>them.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-center has-black-color has-white-background-color has-text-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\" style=\"font-size:18px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>\u201cIt became apparent that, although powerful tools in their own right, the reporting and dashboard solutions on the market did not offer the granular detail Harley-Davidson was seeking \u2013 requiring workarounds and bolt-ons to&nbsp;meet our requirements.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Executive Insight, however, was capable of being configured to match our exact specifications, providing clear and meaningful reports to share across a spectrum of audiences \u2013 from the Executive VP Team requiring top level data right the way down to our Field Sales Managers to review an individual dealer&#8217;s data.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Executive Insight has allowed us to review all of regions performance data in a single view. APD are currently supporting us to build an additional dashboard to help focus on another important growth area of our business.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<cite><strong>Stuart Broady  &#8211; Network Performance Manager, EMEA<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Actions&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Through APD\u2019s comprehensive qualification process we determined the key requirements necessary for a successful deployment of Executive Insight. We knew the number of databases that needed to be migrated in to the APD Data Warehouse and understood the KPI metrics which Harley-Davidson wanted to track. From there, APD built and presented a series of prototype dashboards and reports applicable to each identified audience \u2013 ensuring that we met Harley-Davidson\u2019s executive performance reporting requirements and standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout Executive Insight\u2019s implementation across the EMEA region, we remained in regular contact with Harley-Davidson, refining certain aspects of the initial design as the client\u2019s knowledge developed into the performance management dashboard they use today.
